Materials and Other Learning Sources

SMA Muhammadiyah 2 provides textbooks for the students and the teachers. The school also provides informative magazines to students and teachers. Classrooms have LCD projectors and speakers, as well as AC Units, helping maintain an efficient and comfortable learning environment for the students.

The library is full of reading materials which both the teachers and the students can browse for reference. Most of the books were written in Indonesian though, so I was not able to make much use of them. However, the area had a decent Wi-Fi connection which came into handy every time I needed to look up information or download media files. The quiet atmosphere of the library also helps in making it a perfect spot for doing paper works.

The audio-visual room, also located inside the library, was very useful as well because I heavily relied on slide presentations as visual aid for my discussions, and some of the classrooms did not have well-functioning ICT resources.

Both the male and female teacher rooms have Wi-Fi connection, as well as computer units. Printing and photocopy services are free for the teachers.
